Job summary

Turning Point in England is seeking a part-time Crisis and Recovery Worker to support people experiencing mental health crises in a calm, non-judgemental setting. The role involves one-to-one support, risk assessment, and helping guests access community services, with shifts in the evenings and at weekends.

You will build quick rapport, work with a compassionate approach, and contribute to plan development and de-escalation strategies while delivering person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and value base in mental health and related issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in mental health work and crisis support.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to address and de-escalate immediate crisis in a safe, supportive setting.
• Work one-to-one with guests, developing risk management and support plans.
• Sign-post guests to community-based support or services as required.
