Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a dedicated Crisis Recovery Worker to support people in mental health crises from Willow House in Coppull and across multiple sites. The role requires compassionate, person-centred engagement and a commitment to safeguarding wellbeing.

You will assess wellbeing, maintain records, and collaborate with partners while working within a 37-hour week and rotating shifts. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to respond compassionately to sensitive and complex issues.
• Able to motivate, support and advocate for people using services.
• Able to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Able to keep good and accurate records.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Assist people using our services to manage and improve their wellbeing.
• Support the development of independent living skills, including budgeting and community engagement.
• Encourage choice, control and active participation in decision-making.
• Oversee your own caseload of key clients and develop person-centred plans.
• Plan and carry out core responsibilities and maintain accurate records.
