Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a House Manager for Redhills Crisis House, a five-bed short-term alternative to hospital admission. The role covers day-to-day running, rostering, auditing, and supervising junior colleagues, with hands-on work alongside residents in crisis.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe admissions and therapeutic engagement, while supporting service users with compassion and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards a Foundation Degree within an agreed timescale.
• Complete Trust mandatory courses.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the house environment, including rostering and auditing.
• Managing and supervising junior colleagues.
• Working directly with service users.
• Role modelling therapeutic engagement.
• Working creatively to support people in crisis.
• Ensuring admissions are gatekept via the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.
