Job summary

NES Fircroft in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, is seeking an ROV Crewing Assistant on a 12-month contract to support the ROV Crewing Team with staff planning and administrative tasks. The role runs on UK PAYE, with a 37.5 hour week and hybrid working after probation.

You will assist in selecting ROV staff and agency personnel for offshore projects, manage project-specific admin, and ensure all certificates and qualifications are in place, while gaining exposure to a global offshore crew operation.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the ROV Crewing Team assist in the planning supporting the selection of ROV staff and agency personnel for offshore projects (local and worldwide)
• Provide support with the administration tasks for project specific requirements
• Provide holiday cover for the ROV Crewing Coordinator’s
• Update internal databasesto assign staff and agency personnel in conjunction with the Crewing team
• Liaise with the ROV Teams offshore, HR, Training/CAAS Team and Project Managers to confirm all required certificates, competencies, and project-specific training are met
• Establish a strong understanding of individual ROV employee strengths

NES Fircroft are supporting a key OFS client in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, for the above role on a contract basis.

This will be a Monday to Friday role, working 37.5 hours per week, and after the initial probation / training phase, they can offer hybrid working.

Within the role, you will be part of the ROV Operations department and responsible in assisting management with crew assignments and related administration tasks, as advised by the ROV Crewing Team on a daily basis.
