Job summary

OurCoop is hiring a Crematorium assistant to help create a respectful environment for families saying goodbye. You will be part of a close-knit team, learn the cremation process, and assist with transfers and care of the deceased.

A full driving licence is essential and shifts vary with duties including grounds maintenance. You will engage with families, Funeral Directors and other partners, handle inquiries, and work within health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Demonstrates clear and confident communication.
• Attention to detail essential for sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring the deceased into our care.
• Help manage and maintain crematorium grounds and cleanliness.
• Support with client inquiries and liaise with doctors and suppliers; comply with health and safety regulations.
