Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Funeral Service Crew member in Shieldhall. Responsibilities include transporting the deceased, assisting at funerals, and preparing coffins with care and professionalism. Full training is provided, no prior funeral industry experience required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (required).
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role (manual lifting).

Responsibilities

• Collect the deceased from various locations in a professional, empathetic manner.
• Bear coffins on funeral days and drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles.
