Job summary

The Crematorium and Memorial Group is seeking a Crematorium Business Leader at Grantham Crematorium. This full-time role blends commercial leadership with compassionate service, owning the site P&L and driving growth through strong client partnerships with funeral directors and local communities.

You will lead a multi-skilled team, shape memorial offerings, improve site standards, and deliver a best-in-class experience for families.

Qualifications

• General management experience (hospitality, retail, leisure, care, or bereavement).
• Experience managing a P&L and driving commercial outcomes.
• Background in sales or B2B relationship management; memorial sales experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of building/leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication; compassionate, customer-first.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use data to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and commercial success, expanding cremation volumes and memorial sales while owning revenue, margins, and EBITDA.
• Build strong relationships with local Funeral Directors and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain site presentation and provide a compassionate, high-quality family experience.
• Lead a multi-skilled team, conduct weekly meetings and monthly 1:1s, and coach performance.
• Drive local presence and innovation through community engagement and local marketing.
