Job summary

Horizon Cremation Ltd seeks an exceptional Manager to provide full operational, commercial and people leadership for Cannock Chase Crematorium. This is not a standard crematorium management role and requires an outstanding leader capable of setting benchmarks for service quality, compliance and community engagement.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the post holder will drive standards across governance, performance, memorial development and stakeholder relations, ensuring dignity

Qualifications

• Experience leading crematorium operations and ensuring compliance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and community liaison.
• Ability to drive service quality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crematorium compliance with legislation, permits and safety.
• Oversee cremator operation, plant and equipment.
• Monitor KPIs and report to National Operations Manager.
• Lead quality control and Crematorium Management Plan.
• Engage with ICCM/FBCA and inspections.
• Manage memorial sales development and biodiversity initiatives.
