Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and improve credit control procedures to promote best practices and maximise system utilisation.
  2. Manage and develop a team of 9 direct reports, providing direction and fostering growth.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, prioritising customer experience.
  4. Perform credit checks and proactively manage credit limits.
  5. Chase overdue invoices by phone and email, ensuring accurate records of all activities.
  6. Provide accurate and timely advice on billing queries and ensure disputes are handled promptly.
  7. Liaise with stakeholders to improve credit control processes and identify any issues early.
  8. Prepare monthly KPI reports for management, ensuring timely and accurate information.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in credit control management/supervisory level roles
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record in cash flow forecasting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and processes, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
