Job summary

Vans, part of VF Corporation, is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to lead the Risk and Data Integrity team in the EMEA region. The role focuses on developing risk strategies, analysing financials, and ensuring data quality across new account openings.

You will guide and mentor team leaders while exploring AI-enabled process improvements. The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days on site in Calverton, Nottingham, and requires strong stakeholder engagement across finance and business

Qualifications

Deep understanding of credit risk and credit risk modelling, IFRS 9.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Leadership skills, managing Team Leaders and projects.
Be comfortable to make a decision, be assertive and adaptable.

Responsibilities

Develop the credit risk strategy and policy, challenging current practices and implementing processes.
Analyse customer financial accounts including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statements, plus stress-testing.
Oversee processing and opening of all new accounts for VF's EMEA business with risk analysis and data quality.
Conduct regular risk meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including macro-economic data updates.
Provide training on systems and risk-related processes to the Credit Department and external stakeholders.
Explore new ways of working using AI to automate repetitive tasks.
