Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking an outstanding Credit Risk Manager to lead our Risk and Data Integrity team in Nottingham. This hybrid role (3 days on site) focuses on managing the credit risk strategies for VF’s EMEA, protecting debtor assets while driving commercial growth.

You will develop and implement risk policy, analyse customer financials, oversee new account processing, conduct risk meetings, and train staff. Exploration of AI-enabled improvements is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of credit risk and credit risk modelling, IFRS 9 focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience leading teams and projects with stakeholders.
• Decision-driven, assertive and adaptable in fast-changing environments.
• Familiarity with BI/tools and data-driven risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop the credit risk strategy and policy for EMEA operations.
• Analyse customer financial statements and conduct stress tests.
• Oversee opening of new accounts with risk analysis and data quality checks.
• Lead regular risk reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver training on risk systems and processes to staff and partners.
• Explore AI-enabled methods to automate repetitive risk tasks.
