Allianz UK is seeking a Credit Management Team Leader to drive cash flow, reduce bad debt, and lead a high-performing team in a hybrid London-based role with occasional Guildford travel.

You will shape credit strategy, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with brokers and stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and continuous improvement within financial services.

Qualifications

• Strong credit management and credit control expertise.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams (minimum 5 years).
• Ability to assess financial health, analyse risk and make sound commercial decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing debt recovery processes and external recovery partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation and delivery of credit management policies to maximise cash flow.
• Manage offshore team relationships and service performance, monitoring KPIs.
• Oversee proactive credit management across broker and non-standard accounts.
• Analyse financial health and credit risk, recommending improvements.
• Build relationships with brokers and stakeholders, visiting as needed.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team, including performance management and training.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, including bad debt provisions.
• Oversee debt recovery and manage external agents and insolvency practitioners.
• Authorize write-offs within delegated authority and monitor litigation-related debts.
