Job summary

Davies in Bolton is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the quality and delivery of Credit Hire teams (Litigation & Pre-Litigation). This permanent, full-time role sits in the Legal department in Bolton, focusing on client care and profitability.

You will collaborate with the Technical Director and Operations to implement robust technical frameworks, audits, and training, driving KPI performance and compliant service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading legal-operations teams in a credit hire environment.
• Strong ability to manage risk, quality metrics and client care.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of work produced in Credit Hire - results, performance and client care.
• Align quality and risk with wider Volume Legal teams, driving commercial delivery.
• Develop and report KPIs to measure success of quality and client care.
• Lead supervisors and technicians to improve performance and reduce defects.
• Monitor trends and drive improvements to stay ahead of competitors.
• Support bids with technical input and client communications.
• Establish internal audit processes and ensure compliance.
