Davies is recruiting a File Handler for pre-litigated complex credit hire claims in Bolton. The role involves investigating high-value claims and repudiating inflated claims, within a busy legal team.

You will manage a caseload under supervision, develop strategy, and negotiate with third parties. The job emphasizes compliance with ISO 9001 and SRA standards, and offers career development within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience handling credit hire files and managing own caseload.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Outlook and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze files throughout the life of the case following client guidelines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with a client-centred approach.
• Formulate initial strategy and assess information and strategies.
• Conduct telephone negotiations with third party solicitors.
• Liaise with insured parties and ensure tasks are completed in the Case Management System.
• Ensure files comply with ISO 9001 and SRA standards.
