Job summary

Davies seeks a Pre Litigated Credit Hire Handler to investigate complex claims up to £25,000 from Bolton. You will join our Legal department, working on a permanent full-time basis within the Tactical Team to reduce overall insurer spend.

The role requires handling Credit Hire files for at least 12 months, strong communication, and the ability to manage workloads under pressure. 35 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Credit Hire files with evidence of managing own caseload.
• Education – at least 5 GCSEs; degree/LPC preferable.
• Ability to use own initiative and plan/prioritise workloads.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Good telephone negotiation skills.
• Experience with Word, Outlook and Case Management System preferred.
• Adhere to the Keoghs Values.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex & technical Credit Hire claims up to £25,000.
• Work as part of the Tactical Team to reduce insurer spend.
• Follow work processes and strategy; maintain calm under pressure.
• Prioritise workloads and manage caseload efficiently.
• Prepare cases for litigation with supervision.
