Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Credit Hire Claims Handler based in Manchester City Centre. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm, with a salary of £28,000 - £35,000 DOE.

You will manage your own caseload and work with claimants, solicitors and insurers to achieve commercially viable settlements. The ideal candidate will have a background in Credit Hire claims, strong negotiation skills and a proactive, commercially aware approach.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Credit Hire claims.
• Strong understanding of Credit Hire processes and principles.
• Excellent negotiation and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a caseload of Credit Hire claims from notification through to settlement.
• Investigate claims and establish liability, indemnity and overall claim position.
• Assess the validity and reasonableness of Credit Hire claims.
• Negotiate settlements with solicitors, insurers and other third parties.
• Review hire agreements and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to control and minimise claims expenditure.
• Proactively manage disputed, complex and high-value claims.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive claims records.
