Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled credit control administrator to manage ledgers, pursue overdue invoices, and maintain accurate records. You will handle shortfalls from PMI and other sponsors, communicate with patients, and ensure proper allocation of payments using the Trust's computerised system.

Experience in creditor/invoicing roles, proficiency in MS Office, and IT literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• AAT Technician Level or NVQ Level 4 in accounting or equivalent.
• ECDL qualification or equivalent experience with spreadsheets/documents.
• Substantial experience in creditor/invoicing payments department.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ledgers and pursue overdue invoices by phone/email/letter.
• Maintain accurate records of investigative activity and payments.
• Query shortfalls by PMI/other sponsors and write to patients about shortfalls.
• Resolve unallocated credits and ensure correct receipts and payments.
• Run daily debtor reports and record progress in the system.
• Liaise with PMI and sponsors to ensure prompt payment.
