Selecta, the leading provider of unattended self-serve coffee and snacks in Europe, invites applications for a Credit Controller to join our Billing and National Accounts team in the UK. You will manage client AR ledgers, issue statements, and support the Credit Control Leader in shaping departmental strategy.

The role suits a proactive communicator with 3+ years in credit control, experience with high-value ledgers, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years credit control experience.
• Experience managing high-value ledgers.
• Experience in FMCG with multiple clients.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot, formulas, lookups).
• Self-starter with ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own AR ledger for multiple clients and provide weekly/monthly statements.
• Attend and run client meetings via Teams as required.
• Build relationships with client AP teams and key stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Ensure timely remittance in line with agreed terms.
• Input data and maintain manual records and logs.
• Daily use of Excel for analyses and reporting.
• Utilise bespoke internal systems and attend off-site meetings as needed.
• Support Billing and National Accounts Credit Control Leader and HoSS.

We are hiring a Credit Controller to join our current team of 5 associates and support the Billing and National Accounts Credit Control Leader in determining the vision and strategy for the Department.

The successful candidate will be a key member of a high performing, client focused, billing and cash collection team that delivers to a high standard, whilst ensuring that all targets to reduce overdue debt are met in accordance with the business' controls environment and comply with group.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for own AR ledger consisting of multiple clients
• Providing weekly/monthly client statements
• Attend and run client meetings via teams where required
• Build a professional relationship with client AP teams
• Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure queries are dealt with and ensure repeat problems are identified and resolved within a timely manner
• Ensuring payment remits are received on time and in line with agreed payment terms
• Data input and ensuring manual records and logs are kept up to date
• Daily use of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and lookups)
• Using several bespoke internal systems
• Attend off-site meetings as required
• Ad hoc requests from Billing and National Accounts Credit Control Leader and HoSS

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Min of 3 years Credit Control experience.
• Experience of high value ledger management.
• Experience in FMCG with many client's
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong user of the Microsoft Office range - Excel
• Self-starter and able to prioritise workload
• Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, able to manage conflicting demands and priorities

Desirable Skills

• ERP and finance application systems experience - M3.
• Credica knowledge
