Blusource are recruiting for an established professional services firm in Nottingham, seeking a Credit Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support their finance team. The role involves managing outstanding payments, maintaining client relationships and supporting credit control processes.

The ideal candidate will have credit control experience, strong communication skills, and proficient use of Excel and Word.

Qualificações

• Previous credit control experience or exposure within a finance role.
• Confident and professional telephone and email communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving queries.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Chasing outstanding payments through telephone and email correspondence.
• Following established credit control procedures to manage overdue debt.
• Recording payment commitments and following up where necessary.
• Escalating complex queries or outstanding debts to the Credit Control Team Leader or Manager.
• Maintaining accurate records of client communications and collection activity.
• Supporting the production of client statements and credit control correspondence.
• Liaising with colleagues across the business to resolve payment queries.
