Job summary

Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Glasgow to hire a Credit Control specialist on a permanent contract. You will be working in a small knit finance team reporting to the Head of finance.

Alongside Credit Control, there is an opportunity to take on wider finance duties. This is an on-site role in Glasgow with free parking, interviews to be held ASAP.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years credit control experience.
• Excellent telephone manners and communication skills.
• Willingness to take on wider finance duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect debt via telephone and email.
• Weekly cash flow forecasting.
• Liaise with finance team on disputed accounts.
• Set credit limits and payment terms.
• Create customer accounts on a system.
• Oversee service and utility charges.
• Raise and track credit notes.
• Improve the collection and billing processes.
• Opportunity to take on wider finance responsibilities.
