Job summary

Huws Gray Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Credit Control Clerk on a part-time basis (23 hours per week across 3 days). You will proactively collect debts, manage key accounts, and resolve queries to enable continued trade across branches.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or debt collection.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch.

Responsibilities

• Proactively collect debt from overdue account customers.
• Prioritise workload and manage key accounts to enable continued trade.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to resolve account queries.
• Analyse and approve or decline account credit limits and terms.
• Process payments and set up new accounts quickly and accurately.
• Encourage customers to use online account access.
