Savant is supporting a great independent client in Oxford to recruit a Credit Controller/Finance Assistant for their head office finance team.

The role ensures accounts receivable stay aligned with payment terms, with proactive debt chasing and reporting on overdue accounts.

You will liaise with the sales team to provide up-to-date account status and help with reconciliations in a supportive, busy office.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and account reconciliation, debt collecting methods, cash allocation and managing customer relationships beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounts receivable are kept in line with payment terms and advise management on overdue accounts.
• Proactively work with customers to obtain payment for overdue debt.
• Liaise with sales to provide up-to-date information regarding account status.
