JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a salary of £28,000–£29,500 per annum.

The role blends credit control duties with broader finance support, requiring confident customer communication and precise ledger management. You will handle reconciliations, chase overdue payments, and assist the wider finance team with daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Proactively managing and collecting outstanding debt.
• Chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Maintaining and reconciling customer accounts.
• Allocating customer payments accurately.
• Producing regular debtor and aged debt reports.

Responsibilities

• Handle account reconciliations and pursue outstanding payments professionally.
• Support wider finance function with daily administrative tasks.
• Assist with maintaining debtor days and cash flow targets.
• Process new credit account applications and conduct credit checks.
