Job summary

Savant is supporting a great independent client in Oxford to recruit a Credit Controller/Finance Assistant for their head office finance team.

The role ensures accounts receivable stay aligned with payment terms, with proactive debt chasing and reporting on overdue accounts.

You will liaise with the sales team to provide up-to-date account status and help with reconciliations in a supportive, busy office.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and account reconciliation, debt collecting methods, cash allocation and managing customer relationships beneficial.

Responsibilities

Savant is proud to be supporting a great independent client based in Oxford in their search for a Credit Controller/Finance Assistant to join their friendly head office finance team.

The Credit Controller will ensure accounts receivable are kept in line with relevant payment terms and to advise management when accounts go overdue. You will proactively work with customers to obtain payment for any overdue debt and liaise with the sales team to provide up to date information regarding account status.

Skills/Experience

• Excellent IT skills including office, excel & power-point - Sage 200 would be an advantage

• Good attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
