Job summary

IVC Evidensia UK is seeking a Credit Controller (Central Collections & Support Team) to manage client accounts and drive effective repayment solutions. This entry-level role focuses on customer service, compliance and empathetic client engagement within our veterinary services network.

You will handle inbound/outbound contacts, maintain accurate case notes and work towards timely resolutions while developing through a structured career path in collections and customer contact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or contact centre role.
• Ability to handle sensitive or challenging conversations calmly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with confidence using systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts through inbound and outbound communication channels (phone, email, letters).
• Engage with clients to understand their circumstances and agree appropriate repayment solutions.
• Resolve assigned cases through standard processes with timely, accurate outcomes.
• Maintain a professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
• Escalate complex or vulnerable cases to Senior Case Officials or Team Leaders as needed.
• Maintain auditable records and comply with Debt Management and Data Protection policies.
