Job summary

BSW Group is seeking an experienced Credit Controller based at the Halbeath Office. You will support the Finance team and report to the Credit Control Manager, handling debt collection, reporting, and onboarding of customers.

Responsibilities include managing credit insurance, writing provisions, and liaising with auditors. A background in credit control within the timber/forestry sector is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience developing end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes.
• Sound knowledge of Credit Law and corporate legislation.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
• CICM or related financial qualification is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage debtors for a portfolio including national accounts.
• Prepare weekly/monthly management information and debt reporting.
• Onboard new customers in the accounting software.
• Manage credit insurance for the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate credit control risks and improve processes.
• Oversee write-offs and debt provisions; arrange payment plans.
• Liaise with auditors and debt management agencies as needed.
