Job summary

E & M Talent Partners are supporting a key client in South Leeds who are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a supportive Credit Control Manager and a focus on developing staff through mentorship. You will manage your own ledger, chase payments, onboard new accounts and maintain debtor reports to improve cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a high-volume credit control function.
• Experience chasing overdue payments by phone, email and letter.
• Onboarding of new accounts including carrying out credit checks.
• Monitoring accounts, setting limits and placing holds as required.
• Maintaining debtor ageing reports.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own ledger.
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter.
• Handle queries from customers and internal teams.
• Take payment and allocate to accounts.
• Onboard new accounts including carrying out credit checks.
• Monitor accounts including limits, putting accounts on stop and hold.

E & M Talent Partners are proudly supporting a key client based in South Leeds who are looking to appoint an experinced Credit Controller on an inital temporary contract for a period of 6 months.

You will be joining a highly competent, and settled Credit Control team under the stewardship of a vastly experienced Credit Control Manager who takes staff development and mentorship very important.

The responsibilities you will be tasked with performing are traditional Credit Control duties:

• Takes responsibility for your own ledger
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
• Handle queries
• Take payment and allocate to accounts
• Onboarding of new accounts including carrying out credit checks
• Monitor accounts including limits, putting accounts on stop and hold
• Maintain debtor reports inc age of debt

Ideally you will have a minimum of 1yr experience in a high volume Credit Control function and be able to start a new position at short notice.

This is a full time role, 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday and you are required to be in the office every day (no remote working).
