Job summary

E&M Talent Partners Ltd, on behalf of a client in South Leeds, seeks an experienced Credit Controller for an initial 6-month temporary contract. The role is office-based, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on traditional credit control duties within a supported team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a high-volume credit control environment and can start at short notice. This is a temporary, full-time position based in the office with no remote working.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume Credit Control function.
• Available to start a new position at short notice.
• In-office role with no remote working; Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own ledger and chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter.
• Handle queries from customers and allocate payments to accounts.
• Onboard new accounts including carrying out credit checks.
• Monitor accounts for limits and place accounts on stop/hold when required.
• Maintain debtor reports including age of debt.

E & M Talent Partners are proudly supporting a key client based in South Leeds who are looking to appoint an experinced Credit Controller on an inital temporary contract for a period of 6 months.

You will be joining a highly competent, and settled Credit Control team under the stewardship of a vastly experienced Credit Control Manager who takes staff development and mentorship very important.

The responsibilities you will be tasked with performing are traditional Credit Control duties:

• Takes responsibility for your own ledger
• Chase outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
• Handle queries
• Take payment and allocate to accounts
• Onboarding of new accounts including carrying out credit checks
• Monitor accounts including limits, putting accounts on stop and hold
• Maintain debtor reports inc age of debt

Ideally you will have a minimum of 1yr experience in a high volume Credit Control function and be able to start a new position at short notice.

This is a full time role, 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday and you are required to be in the office every day (no remote working).
