Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established client team. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, proactively collect payments and resolve account queries to keep terms up to date.

This role offers a hybrid working option after probation, a starting salary of circa £27,000 - £29,000 with an annual bonus, and access to travel, health and wellness discounts in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recent Credit Control or Sales Ledger experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong reconciliation, cash allocation and query resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively collecting outstanding payments to reduce aged debt
• Build strong relationships with customers - resolving account queries and disputes efficiently
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and manage cash allocation
• Issue invoices, statements, reminder letters and other account documentation
• Monitor aged debt reports, lead arrears review meetings and provide regular updates on collection performance
• Work collaboratively with Finance and other internal teams to resolve queries and support continuous improvement of collection KPIs

We are working with one of our well-established clients, who is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

What you will be doing as the Credit Controller:
