What You Will Do

We are seeking a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join our team. The successful applicant with ensure that the Sales Ledger is correct and appropriately managed and will accurately prepare and process the twice monthly direct debit.

Alongside managing the direct debit, the role involves full end to management of the debtor process including but not limited to chasing regular payment from non-direct debit customers, sending statements, account reconciliation, coding and positing invoices and liaising with customer by both telephone and email.

You will prepare regular debtor reports and provide commentary to the Financial Controller and Finance Director on a monthly basis.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Methodical and process driven
• High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
• Work well under pressure especially during peak periods
• Good numeracy & literacy skills
• Good IT skills, including an understanding of Microsoft packages
• Proven communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organisation skills to effectively manage and prioritise workload
