Job summary

Vp plc in Harrogate is seeking a motivated Credit Controller to join our Finance Shared Service Centre team. You will maximise cash collections and maintain strong customer relationships, reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader.

Your role involves owning ledgers, following up on overdue payments, and supporting the team with data analysis and reports. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior credit control experience is beneficial (full training provided).
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong communication skills, with a confident phone manner.
• Ambitious and eager to learn and develop.
• Good level of numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a designated customer ledger and diligently follow up on overdue payments.
