You will monitor outstanding payments, keep online customer portals accurate, and follow up on overdue balances; opportunities exist to handle wholesale accounts as you gain experience. Salary is £30,000 - £32,000 with benefits.

• Comfortable managing a high volume of transactions and customer accounts.
• Confident chasing payments and dealing with customer queries.

Cummins Mellor are working with an established business in Darwen who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their finance team as soon as possible.

This is a hands‑on, high-volume role with a strong focus on B2 C credit control, online transactions and making sure customer accounts are kept up to date and payments are received on time.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring outstanding payments, keeping online customer accounts and portals up to date, and following up on overdue balances. Once you’ve got to grips with the day-to-day workload, there will also be the opportunity to get involved with wholesale customers and more varied accounts.

The Role
