Job summary

HSS ProService Limited is seeking a Credit Control Team Lead to oversee all operational aspects of Credit Control, including team management, delivery of collection targets, and proactive engagement with key stakeholders. The role acts as a deputy to the Head of Credit and forms part of the extended FSSC Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in Credit Control environment with at least 2 years in management of at least 5 colleagues.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working within a fast paced environment.
• Ability to demonstrate a track record of developing others using an array of techniques.
• Ability to interpret data quickly and act upon it.

Responsibilities

• Ensure credit policy & processes are understood and adhered to.
• Recognise credit risk and swiftly act upon information to minimise bad debt exposure & write off.
• Propose payment plans with customers for presentation to Head of Credit.
• Ensure accurate, timely and professional invoice query resolution.
• Monitor and achieve departmental KPIs.
• Set team and individual targets (weekly/monthly).
• Deliver regular monitoring of accounts and ledger reviews.
• Drive achievement of cash collection targets.
• Identify ways to improve debt collection.
• Identify training and skills gaps and create appropriate training plans.
