Job summary

Commercial Services Group is seeking a Credit Control Team Leader to drive cash flow and lead a high-performing team within our Corporate Shared Services. This 6-month fixed term contract role requires hands-on credit control expertise and strong people leadership to maximise working capital and improve processes.

You will lead the Credit Controllers & Cash Allocators, manage workloads, produce KPIs, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional financial performance across

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Credit Control or AR team.
• Strong debt collection and cash flow management knowledge.
• Proven leadership with ability to develop teams.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience producing KPIs and management information.
• Strong stakeholder management at senior level.
• Experience leading change and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Credit Controllers & Cash Allocators to deliver high performance.
• Manage workloads to maximise cash collection and reduce aged debt.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries, disputes and debt issues.
• Build relationships with business leaders to support working capital objectives.
• Produce and analyse management information, KPIs and performance reports.
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting cash flow and debt recovery.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance controls for customer account setup and maintenance.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members through performance management.
