Job summary

Maples Group are seeking a Credit Control Supervisor to join our Leeds-based team. You will support Credit Controllers, manage delinquent and aged accounts, and drive collections in line with the firm's policy.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in finance, strong process orientation, and excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with partners and clients. This is a hybrid role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a finance-based role.
• Solid understanding of the credit control process and KPI tracking.
• Willingness to work towards ICM accreditation or similar qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team are driving collections in line with the firm's Credit Policy to reduce bad debt.
• Conduct regular 1-to-1s and review team ledgers; coach and mentor the team.
• Lead on process improvements and drive efficiencies across credit operations.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers externally and resolve escalated accounts.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and contribute to month-end activities.
