Job summary

WH Finance Ltd is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to own the debtor book and lead the credit-control function. You will drive end-to-end credit control, from assessing new customers and setting credit limits through to collecting overdue debt and resolving disputes, ensuring robust processes across the business.

You will lead and develop the Credit Control team, collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, credit insurers and external partners, and provide accurate reporting

Qualifications

• Proven credit-control expertise with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience reducing DSO and overdue debt.
• Experience leading a Credit Control team.
• Ability to produce and present management reports to senior management or Directors.
• Strong Excel skills with aged debt reports and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end credit-control process from assessment to collections.
• Assess new customers and set appropriate credit limits.
• Collect overdue debt and manage disputes and recoveries.
• Lead, coach and develop the Credit Control team.
• Provide clear reporting to Finance Director and senior management.
