Job summary

Intact Insurance, based in Halifax, is seeking a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team. You will manage broker account workloads, allocate cash, and resolve issues to maximise collection activity and accuracy of policy records.

Responsibilities

• Managing a workload of Broker accounts, collecting premium to terms to minimise debt exposure & risk.
• Cash allocation & reconciliation of broker accounts to ensure accurate account & debt position.
• Dealing directly with internal and/or external customers to deliver high standard of customer service.
• Active identification and resolution of issues arising to maximise collection activity & accuracy of policy records.
• Planning & prioritising your daily activities to investigate financial transactions and identify and influence solutions to problems/barriers arising.
• Engaging with customers and colleagues to maintain open lines of communication, ensure mutual understanding and the prompt resolution of issues arising
