Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is seeking a proactive Credit Controller in the United Kingdom. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase payments, and negotiate payment dates to keep cash flowing. A customer-focused, organised approach is essential.

You will work within a team, resolving invoice queries and supporting day-to-day Finance activities, with hybrid working after probation (2 days from home, 3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong communication and rapport-building on the phone.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail.
• Proactive workload management and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring payments are received on time.
• Proactively chasing outstanding invoices by telephone and email.
• Building strong relationships with customers while negotiating payment dates.
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries and payment disputes.
• Monitoring aged debt and identifying opportunities to reduce overdue balances.
• Working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and keep cash flowing.
• Maintaining accurate account records and providing updates on outstanding debt.
• Supporting the wider Finance team with day-to-day activities.
