Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group in Chesterfield, Derbyshire is seeking a Credit Analyst to join the established finance team on a permanent basis. You will proactively manage a portfolio of 700-800 customer accounts, performing daily credit control tasks and ensuring accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and control a portfolio of 700-800 customer accounts.
• Perform daily credit control tasks including chasing overdue balances, resolving account issues, and managing payment commitments.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Cash Allocation, and Finance to facilitate timely order releases, dispute resolutions, and audit support.
• Use Excel to generate reports, track performance, and analyse customer behaviour.
• Participate in monthly aged debt review meetings with stakeholders to improve collections and reduce overdue exposure.
• Support process improvement initiatives aimed at automating workflows and enhancing collaboration across the business.
