Itchy Feet is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join its Risk team. You will oversee a portfolio of counterparty credit risks across lending, trading, and investment activities, making informed credit decisions within approved risk appetite.

You will critically assess valuation assumptions, collateral structures, and market conditions while maintaining compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes strong stakeholder collaboration and risk monitoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Commerce, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years' experience in credit assessment, credit risk decisioning, and lending within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, repayment structures, collateral management, and credit processes.
• Desirable: Education in real estate (ideally UK), property finance, or structured lending.

Responsabilités

• Assess valuation assumptions, sustainable cash flows, loan-to-value ratios, debt-service and interest-cover metrics, lease profiles, tenant quality, vacancy, break options, and marketability.
• Design or challenge security packages, guarantees, cessions, mortgages, or other collateral arrangements, including intercreditor terms and enforcement priorities.
• Make credit decisions and recommendations in line with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and sound credit risk principles.
• Identify and mitigate credit risks through appropriate security structures, facility conditions, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on credit matters.

Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join their Risk team, responsible for managing a portfolio of counterparty credit risks associated with lending, trading, and investment activities. In this role, you will play a key part in assessing, monitoring, and managing credit risk within the approved risk appetite. Your expertise will contribute to making informed credit decisions and recommendations while ensuring compliance with relevant lending policies and regulatory requirements.
