Job summary

Booker Group in Eccles, Manchester is seeking a Credit Administrator to join the busy Foodservice Finance team. You will support credit administration across the Foodservice business, processing new customer applications, credit limit changes and account updates accurately and within SLAs.

You will work with Branches, Sales and Customer Service, maintain records, perform credit checks, and ensure Direct Debit details are correct.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Administration or Finance Administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial information.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process new customer applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring required information is complete.
• Identify errors or missing information and contact customers to resolve issues before processing.
• Carry out credit checks on new and existing customers in line with procedures.
• Manage changes to customer credit limits and payment terms with proper approvals.
• Obtain and verify Direct Debit information from customers and update SAP records.
• Complete checks and amendments related to Direct Debits through the payment platform.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
• Prepare and check customer welcome communications.
