Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Display Artist based in London to create artistic, commercially successful store displays. You will work with the Visual Merchandising Manager to translate seasonal concepts into engaging floor sets at Westfield Stratford City and throughout the network.

The role requires a strong artistic background, a portfolio when applicable, and the ability to mentor retail teams while managing budgets and ensuring high craftsmanship in all displays.

Qualifications

• Strong artistic background in fine arts, design or architecture.
• Portfolio submission if applicable.
• Ability to develop creative ideas into working solutions.
• Talent for creation of artwork, painting, paper hanging and carpentry.
• Excellent construction craftsmanship and experience in 3D work.
• Effective communication and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Company direction to create artistic, visionary displays that boost sales.
• Utilise seasonal books to translate floor set inspiration for the store location with artistic and cultural touches.
• Ensure craftsmanship across all windows and in-store displays.
• Mentor retail teams on display standards and materials management.
• Attend daily meetings and collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager and Store Manager on timely project execution.
• Support display budgets, expenses reporting and stock display coordination.
