You will join Advinia Health Care as a Chef, working alongside a dedicated catering team to prepare daily meals for Residents, Staff and Visitors. Your duties include managing the kitchen, cost control, and event catering, with opportunities to create new menus and contribute to a caring food service culture.

The role offers a calm environment, regular workload management, and a strong work-life balance with two days off weekly (if full-time).

Qualifikationen

• 18 years or older
• GCSE or equivalent English
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking
• Basic Food Hygiene (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Menu planning, costing, ordering, stock control and budget experience

Aufgaben

• Day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Maintain food storage procedures and stock rotation
• Prepare and cook meals to high standard including dietary requirements
• Serve Residents, Staff and Visitors with food and beverage
• Prepare and produce foods for events
• Contribute to food costing through cost control
• Adhere to Safer Food Better Business standards and HACCP
• Take full shift responsibility for catering operation
• Help create new menus and maintain records (HACCP)
