Job summary

Droitwich Dairy at Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking a Cream Packing Operative to join the Droitwich Dairy production team. This permanent, full-time role operates across rotational day and afternoon shifts, including weekends, with early start hours.

You will manually pack dairy products, perform quality checks, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and high standards. We value proactive, dependable candidates who work well in a team, with good numeracy and literacy, and a commitment to health,

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, production, warehousing, or FMCG environments.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good levels of numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manually packing dairy products into boxes and ensuring finished products meet quality standards.
• Carrying out routine quality checks to ensure products are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations.
• Following standard operating procedures, work instructions, and site safety requirements.
• Operating equipment and production processes effectively to achieve daily output targets.
• Replenishing materials and packing supplies as required.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping through a "clean as you go" approach.
• Supporting the training and development of colleagues on relevant tasks and processes.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Supporting general production activities, including product handling, packing, movement of goods, and basic equipment operation.
• Assisting with maintaining operational standards across the department.

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Cream Packing Operative to join our Droitwich Dairy.

As part of our production team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our dairy products are packed to the highest quality standards and delivered safely to our customers. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential.
