Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Production Operative to join our Dairy Department at Severnside Dairy. The role ensures smooth operation of the raw milk intake, milk processing, cream processing and related lab testing, recording and reporting results.

You will work 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off 2 days/2 nights rotating shift pattern, with a salary of £35,842.06 per annum. Training and development opportunities are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing or food environment.
• Quality assurance experience is preferred.
• Production or manufacturing experience in a food environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
• Sampling and testing of raw products.
• Loading tankers.
• Liaising with the other production departments.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings
• Undertake any other duties as required.
• Quality assurance.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area and chemical offload area.In addition tocarryingout labtestingtoanalyse, recordand report lab results in relation to all required processing lab tests.

Contract:Full Time42 hours per week

Salary:£35,842.06per annum

Shift Pattern:4 on 4off2days and2nights(7-7 Rotating)

Location:SevernsideDairy
