Job summary

Field View Care Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly capable CQC Registered Manager for a 4-bed adult care home in Basildon (SS14). You will lead a care team to deliver safe, person-centred support for adults with autism and complex needs, while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

You will manage budgeting, safeguarding, audits and staff development, with on-call duties and strong links to commissioners and regulators.

Qualifications

• You will hold a QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma or equivalent.
• Senior leadership experience in a care setting for adults with autism and complex needs.
• Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS; patient-centered care.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
• UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a high-performing care team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
• Ensure delivery of safe, person-centered, outcome-focused care that promotes dignity and independence.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, health and safety laws and statutory frameworks.
• Prepare for and lead regulatory inspections, implement improvement plans as needed.
• Promote safeguarding culture and manage concerns appropriately.
• Oversee medication management, incident reporting, risk assessments and quality assurance processes.
• Recruit, induct, supervise and develop staff while managing performance and training compliance.
• Manage staffing levels and participate in on-call rota to ensure safe service delivery.
• Monitor budgets, control expenditure and identify efficiencies while sustaining high standards.
• Build relationships with commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
