Job summary

OOJ Homecare Services Ltd. seeks a CQC Registered Manager to lead a supported living service for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will oversee operations, care quality, staff development and regulatory compliance to ensure person-centred support.

You will lead the team, review care plans, ensure safe medication practices and maintain records while fostering partnerships with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported living, assisted living or residential care with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Good working knowledge of CQC regulations; Registered Manager experience or progress towards registration desirable.
• Leadership experience involves learning disabilities, autism and mental health.
• Understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care, safeguarding and person-centred support.
• Strong communication, team leadership and performance management skills.
• Preferred qualification: NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care / Healthcare Management; relevant additional certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintain high standards of person-centred care in line with CQC requirements.
• Develop, implement and review individualised care and support plans that reflect people’s needs and preferences.
• Manage, supervise, train and mentor care staff, promoting professional development and effective performance.
• Oversee safe medication practices and compliance with relevant procedures and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate care records, supervision notes, audits and incident documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and implement continuous service improvements.
• Build constructive relationships with people receiving support, families, healthcare professionals and partner agencies.
