Job summary

The Chartered College of Teaching is recruiting a Professional Learning Quality Lead to support teacher development and embed high-quality CPD across the sector. This is a fixed-term role running to December 2027, with a 35-hour week and scope for part-time arrangements.

The role requires UK-based candidates; it involves leading CPD quality framework development, delivering training, creating resources, quality assurance activities, and collaboration with schools, colleges and partners to raise

Qualifications

• Educated to at least degree standard, with QTS and experience of teaching in UK
• Proven knowledge and understanding of effective professional development methodologies
• Critical understanding of research and evidence relating to teacher professional development and implementation
• Experience of designing and/or delivering teacher professional development
• Able to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Able to organise information and communicate complex ideas clearly

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a CPD quality framework
• Deliver training and develop resources
• Quality assurance activities
• Work with partner organisations to quality assure their professional development
• Design and deliver CPD sessions
• Contribute to online courses and content
• Review and evaluate existing provision
• Collaborate across the organisation to promote CPD standards
