Job summary

The Manchester College, part of the LTE Group, is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (Quality Improvement) to join its central Quality Team on a permanent 35-hour week basis in Manchester.

You will contribute to improving teaching, learning and assessment across the college, lead CPD delivery, and guide teachers through data-informed quality improvements while using a range of digital tools in-classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Degree or professional qualification and/or relevant industrial experience.
• Numeracy and literacy to level 2 or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ successful teaching/training/assessment experience.
• Experience planning/designing staff development/CPD for teachers/trainers/assessors.
• Experience in post-16 sector leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Design and deliver CPD programmes and contribute to Festival of Learning.
• Carry out learning walks and student focus groups to evaluate provision.
• Lead reviews of teachers’ assessment, feedback and targets.
• Provide in-classroom support and coaching with digital tools.
