Job summary

The Chartered College of Teaching is recruiting a Professional Learning Quality Lead on a fixed-term basis through December 2027 to drive CPD quality across the sector. The role focuses on embedding high-quality teacher development and delivering a new CPD quality framework.

You will lead testing, consultation, and rollout, develop training resources, and QA partner professional development offers. Flexible/hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Educated to at least degree standard with QTS and UK teaching experience.
• Proven knowledge of effective professional development methodologies.
• Understanding of research/evidence related to teacher PD and implementation.
• Experience designing and delivering teacher professional development.
• Able to engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate clearly.
• Able to organise information and present complex ideas coherently.

Responsibilities

• Lead on establishing CPD quality standards and QA processes.
• Develop and deliver CPD resources and training materials.
• Coordinate projects, manage timelines and budgets with stakeholders.
• Engage in CPD learning activities and maintain subject knowledge.
• Represent the College at external events and in partnerships.
